InfraMap is pleased to announce the promotions of our three outstanding team members: Ken Kerr, PE, Jimmy Stewart, PE and Melinda Connally Caricoffe.
Ken Kerr, PE is now the Executive Vice President for InfraMap. Mr. Kerr has been with InfraMap since 2008, until recently serving as Vice President overseeing all operations in the North. Mr. Kerr is an accomplished engineer, licensed in 13 states, and an expert in subsurface utility engineering. With more than 26 years of engineering design, planning, and project management experience, He has worked on numerous transportation improvement projects for the NJTA, NJDOT, NYSDOT, PennDOT, DelDOT, MDSHA, VTRANS, and PANYNJ. Additionally, he has managed facility protection contracts at Aberdeen Proving Grounds and projects at hospitals, colleges and universities, industrial sites, and water/wastewater treatment plants. As Executive Vice President, Mr. Kerr assumes responsibility for overseeing company-wide operations, managing SOPs and ensuring QA/QC procedures are followed for all project deliverables. . Mr. Kerr earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, MA.
Jimmy Stewart, PE has been named Director for InfraMap Corp. Mr. Stewart joined the InfraMap team in January 2020 as a project engineer. In his new role as Director, his duties include project management, program management, scheduling, proposal preparation, pricing, and QA/QC of the team deliverables. He oversees the coordination of all designation, test hole and survey crews in Indiana, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi and Florida. His other duties include supervision of our CADD Department, and coordinates and takes responsibility for all sub-consultants in the South.
Mr. Stewart earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia.
Melinda Connally Caricofe has been promoted to Operations Specialist working out of our corporate headquarters. Mrs. Caricofe joined the InfraMap team in 2015 as a member of our administration team, overseeing admin operations in the South. In her new role, Mrs. Caricofe manages proposal coordination, DOT bid preparation and RFP submittals. Additionally, she oversees project budgeting/tracking, compliance, and provides executive support. She works with all nine InfraMap offices ensuring cross communication and operational consistency.
Mrs. Caricofe earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Limestone University in South Carolina in 2008.
