James “Jimmy” Stewart, Jr. has more than a decade of experience in the engineering field. Prior to joining InfraMap in 2020, he served as a roadway designer and traffic engineer for multiple well-regarded professional engineering consulting firms. With a primary focus on subsurface utility engineering, Jimmy now manages and acts as the professional engineer in charge for jobs that scale from local roadway improvement projects to statewide on-call contracts with multiple state Departments of Transportation.
As Director for InfraMap, his duties include contract management, project management, scheduling, proposal preparation, pricing, and QA/QC of the team deliverables. He oversees operational activities and manages InfraMap and subconsultant staff in Indiana, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Mississippi.
Jimmy earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia.
