Our Services
Utility Infrastructure Mapping is a survey of all utilities above and below ground,
including related structures located within the project limits.
Utility Infrastructure mapping contains all of the
components of S.U.E as defined by the ASCE, plus much more because S.U.E. is only concerned with buried utilities.
This type of survey uses geophysical methods to determine the location of buried utilities and traditional survey techniques
to reference the geophysical data and above ground plant to project datum. Our mapping is typically merged into existing base topography.
The scope of infrastructure mapping will usually include all above and below ground utilities and related structures such as utility poles,
vaults, manholes, valves and enclosures. Our scope often includes collecting actual inside and outside dimensions of vaults, and documenting
the configuration of cabling and conduit, utility material, sizes, condition, and ownership. Sewerage and storm systems along with their flow
line elevations and pipe sizes are also typically included in our scope.
